Digital Signage Installation

Digital signage installation nationwide: commercial displays, video walls, menu boards, media players, mounting and concealed cabling.

Digital Signage Installation
What we deliver

LVForce installs digital signage for commercial and multi-site brands in all 50 states: commercial displays, video walls, indoor and drive-thru menu boards, outdoor high-brightness screens, media players and the concealed power and data infrastructure behind them. We install to your specification and your content platform, then verify playback before we leave the site.

Signage is judged on two things: whether the picture is on, and whether the installation looks intentional. A screen hung two degrees off level with a power strip visible below it undermines the entire investment, which is why mounting, cable concealment and structural work get as much attention from us as the electronics.

Signage is judged on two things: whether the picture is on, and whether the installation looks intentional. A screen hung two degrees off level with a power strip visible below it undermines the entire investment, which is why mounting, cable concealment and structural work get as much attention from us as the electronics.

What We Install

Our signage scope covers commercial-grade displays rated for extended duty cycles (typically 16/7 or 24/7 rather than consumer televisions), multi-screen video walls, quick-service drive-thru menu boards and indoor menu board arrays, outdoor high-brightness displays in weather-rated enclosures, interactive touch displays, LED direct-view panels, and the media players or built-in system-on-chip hardware that drives them.

We are brand-agnostic. Whether your standard is a specific commercial display line, BrightSign-class media players, or displays with integrated players, we install what your brand program or AV consultant specified and follow the manufacturer's mounting and clearance requirements rather than improvising.

Structural Mounting Done Properly

Mounting is a structural question first. A 55-inch commercial display with its mount typically runs 60 to 100 pounds; a 3x3 video wall runs several hundred pounds concentrated on a small wall area. We attach to structure — studs, blocking, unistrut, strut channel spanning studs, or ceiling attachment to deck with rated hardware — never to drywall anchors alone, and we verify what is actually behind the wall before committing to a location.

We install flat, tilt, articulating, pop-out service and ceiling-suspended mounts, plus custom fabricated structures where millwork or an unusual location demands it. Every display is leveled and set at the height the design calls for, and pop-out or service-access mounts are used for video walls and recessed installations so a failed panel can be pulled without dismantling the wall.

Menu Boards and Drive-Thru Signage

Restaurant signage has its own constraints. Indoor menu arrays typically involve three to six displays in a precise horizontal alignment where any deviation is obvious from the queue, so we set them with a laser line rather than by eye and manage the gap between panels consistently across the array.

Drive-thru boards are outdoor equipment: high-brightness displays in weather-rated enclosures, with conduit and cable entries sealed against water intrusion, ventilation or climate control per the enclosure design, and grounding done properly. We coordinate the trenching, bollards and concrete work that fall inside our scope with your general contractor or site contractor, and we schedule the cutover so the lane is down for the shortest possible window — typically overnight or during a documented low-volume period.

Power, Data and Cable Concealment

Every install we do runs power and data concealed. Data drops are Cat6 or Cat6A run from the IDF or local rack to each display or player location, terminated to a patch panel, tested and labeled, with PoE used where the display or player supports it. Power is coordinated with your electrician so a receptacle lands behind the display within the mount's cable management path, not on an adjacent wall with a cord draped across it.

In existing finished spaces we fish walls, use in-wall rated pathway where required by code, and locate players in a rack or behind the display in a purpose-made recess rather than resting on a ledge. Longer runs and multi-display distributions use HDBaseT-class extension or IP-based distribution rather than long passive HDMI cables, which is where a lot of low-bid signage installs fail intermittently six months in. Our structured cabling and AV systems teams do this layer as part of the same project.

Video Walls

Video walls demand tolerances ordinary display installs do not. Panels must be coplanar and aligned to fractions of a millimeter across the array, bezel-to-bezel gaps must be uniform, and each panel must be individually serviceable after the wall is complete. We use rated video wall mounts with micro-adjustment on all axes, set the array from a laser reference, and verify alignment across the whole face rather than panel to panel.

We also plan for failure: signal distribution with a documented topology, accessible player and processor placement, labeled cabling per panel position, and enough service clearance to pull a panel. Where the design calls for redundancy — a spare input path, a hot-spare player — we install and label it so a support technician can swap it under pressure without a drawing hunt.

Content Platforms and Playback Verification

We install and verify the hardware; your content management platform and creative team own the content. That said, no installation is complete until the screen is actually playing what it should, so we work with your CMS provider or IT team during handover: connecting each player or display to the network, confirming it registers with the platform, verifying the correct playlist or channel appears on the correct screen, and checking orientation, resolution, scaling and aspect ratio.

Getting the right content on the right screen is a labeling discipline. Every display and player is documented with location, device ID, serial and network details, so the person assigning content remotely is not guessing which of the eleven screens in a store is "Player 7."

Multi-Site Rollout Programs

Signage programs usually mean many locations on a deadline — a menu redesign, a brand refresh, a new promotional format across a chain. We run these as programs: a pilot site to prove the build book, per-market waves staffed by local crews, standard site kits, freight and staging coordination, and per-site completion reporting with photographs of every installed screen.

Photo documentation matters more in signage than in almost any other trade, because the deliverable is visual. A brand manager reviewing 200 sites should be able to see that site 147 was installed level, aligned and clean without flying there.

What Drives Digital Signage Pricing

Pricing is driven by display count and size, mount type and structural complexity, how much new power and data infrastructure is required, working height and whether lifts or scaffolding are needed, indoor versus outdoor and weather-rated work, after-hours scheduling, and travel to the market.

Video walls and outdoor drive-thru installations sit at the high end because of alignment tolerances, structural requirements and weather sealing. Straightforward single-display installs in a space with existing power and data are quick and inexpensive. For chain programs we quote a blended per-site rate against a defined kit with survey allowances for outliers.
